**Eisenhower Intermediate School’s 6th Grade Class Completes L.E.A.D Program** Oregon, OH – The inaugural 6th grade class at Eisenhower Intermediate School has ...proudly graduated from the L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs and Violence) program. These dedicated students successfully completed all 15 lessons of the “Too Good for Drugs and Violence” (TGFD&V) curriculum, thanks to the gracious support of Mrs. McGill, who provided an additional five visits to ensure the program’s completion. Officer Shaw, the School Resource Officer (SRO) at Eisenhower Intermediate School, spearheaded this pilot program. She has made it her mission to connect with every student in the school, teaching a 10-week drug prevention program to all 5th graders and the remaining 6th graders, emphasizing the importance of drug and violence prevention education. This graduation marks a significant milestone in the school’s commitment to fostering a safe and informed student body. Officer Shaw’s efforts have not only educated the students on crucial topics but also strengthened the relationship between law enforcement and the community.
